ISABEL CRISTINA JIMÉNEZ
Born in Colombia in 1983. Her interest in art began at an early age where she began to cultivate the seed of art and the desire to undertake as a professional artist.
Graduated from the Guerrero Academy of Arts in 2014 as a plastic artist, she enters the Butoh dance with master Ko Murobushi and thus continues her performative path with Brenda Polo, director of Manusdea Scenic Anthropology.
Her artistic tendency has always been oriented towards the promotion of women’s rights and the resignation of women’s bodies. Through different exhibitions and individual works, she has addressed the female figure and women’s rights from the Colombian social context; always focusing on women with physical and cognitive diversity.
